The whole year!

The only good things about this year was the pizza and getting out, this year was so hard becuase we used a new flash so we had to get use to a new one. Usually the 8th graders would help the 7th graders but now i have even had to be asisted by a younger classman.
 I'm going to miss the 7th grade people that I have  made friends with, like josh, jt, dante, mickey, tyler, price.

If we had more time

If me and hannah had more time, then wwe will made a few changes like colors and change scence. I think that this year has been great and so, and i am not doing this class next year

I'm hungry for socks and the Westest

I ate socks for 50$ and the westest is coming up and i hope i do great. I am wanting to do the math part last and then the social studies part and then the reading and then the science. That is the way I would have it.  I love have the Westest week because in the morning we test and in the afternoon we watch movies and stuff. And today I got over a 100$ off of dante.

The reasons our game is not a quiz game.

The biggest reason that our game is not a quiz game is because it is not a game were it gives you a question and you have to click on a variety of answers. It is not a boring non-colorful, black and white game. Hannah and I have a colorful and platform game, we have underwater, sea creature themed game. The game WILL be a game were we all will want to play it.
       Hannah and I Have been working hard on the game the whole year and we based it off of the idea of the Blennerhassett Mansion being on an island and therefor since summer time is coming up, we wanted to make it to wear people were attracted to it and was rermembering what is coming up. 

  In the game you will use the arrow keys to move the character  and the spac bar to jump over the evil sea creatures that are learking in the deep under water, and in order to complete the game you have to ge to the end saftly.

What we have left

I think our game is about done because hannah has not needed my help with a whole lot this week and I am happy and feel confident in the game and the presentation.
     I hope everybody will like it.
    

Free blog day LLLOLOLOOOOOOLLLOOLLL 4-20

It's a great day, a day were we all feel great and learn to share. Me and my partner have switched computers so we can see what the other has done. I really dont wanna go any were because i feel light headed. later today im going to be by myself at the house because mom and my sister is going to prinston and dads working late.

The way I think the presentation will go.

I personally think that the week and the presentation will go great, and not just for me and hannah but for everybody because we have the help from eachother, and the flash that has been greatly updated from last year. Also the great teaching staff we have for the class is great with Mr.Sparks and Mr.Addair.
     I Think the 8th grade should go first so that the 7th grade should see how the 8th grade does it, so they can get a boost of confidence from us and i thnk when me and hannah go it will be the best one that day, because we have a great game idea.
     I also think that since the flash adobe player has been updated it will make it easier for the 7th grade next year, last year we were using the 2.0 flash but now we can us 3.0. It has better thing that you can us like snippets and tweens.
     I also like the teachers and the way they teach us and i feel like i have learned a lot at the end of every day, and Mr.Sparks and Mr.Addair has encouraged me greatly to become a game designer.
 That is the way i think the presentation will go tommorrow.

How we have took our game topic and turned it into a game?

Hannah my partner first came up with the idea and then we started to think how can wwe turn it into a game? So we ended up useing the platforming, and since the game topic included evidence we thought that the player can go around and collect them.
   The platforming game we had to make in class really hepled us out in using it in our game because it gave us a rough idea about how hard it will be and the codes. When me and hannah first saw it we new we would use it.

Threee things that I need to improve in my game.

My partner is Hannah, and in our game, we are doing it on the Blennerhassent mansion. Hannah had done most of the design because she is really good at drawing. This week we got a lot done with our game and we got a lot done on our team page so that we can get good grades. We have worked really hard on our game, but there are still something that I would like to improve in our game to make it even better.

The first thing I would like to improve in our game is the coding, I would like to improve the coding because we need to get a lot of it done. If we dont do the coding right the game wont be good, and nothing will go right. That is why the coding needs to be perfect.

The second thing I would like to improve in our game is the design. I would like to learn how to draw better,  because I cant draw that good on flash, even if hannah does a lot of it. Hannah does a lot of the design. I would like to, but I am really bad at drawing so I do a lot of coding.

The last thing I would like to improve would be our team page, me and hannah neeed to work on our team page because it needs to get done. We need to fill out a lot of things on the team page because if we dont it will make our grade lower. After we do anything on flash we need to upload it to the team page.

These are the things that I need to improve in our game. There is a lot of room for improvement in everyones game i think. We need to work on our game a lot. And there is a lot of room for improvement.

What went on this week????? LOL ILY GATORADE

What all went on this week I HATE FLASH CODES because every time i try to do something with the bottons and try makeing a snip and stuff. I hate flash codes, they are really hard and tough to do without code snippets. But in the end i am really glad i have my partner, hannah to help me with the game and everything. Hannah is really cool and I love her to be my partner love hannah.

Partner!!!!!

Hannah is my partner she is a lot of things and that include helpful and productive and most of all nice to me and everyone else. She has been my partner since the begining of the year and i NOW that she is all of those things and i am going to tell you why.
   There is many words that can decribe her but productive is one of those. She will be on task every second we are in this class and always on time and is perpared. Also she will help you if ANYONE needs it and can do anything in flash, she is soo good.
     Helpful goes along with productive because she even helps the teachers with things that they need help with. Hannah first came up with the idea of Blennerhassett and I think it is a great idea, and i would of never thought of that.
      Nice is a great deffinition of Hannah because she is very helpful and anyone can come with her advise, and if you use her advise it will be the best thing you ever do..........................................................besides going to college which you need to do.

       So as you can see Hannah is a great parnter and the three best words are helpful, preductive, and nice.  She also gives great advise. I LOVE GATORADE

Some things i have learned from Platform gameing!

Some of the things that i have learned is that it is great for collecting thing or items and i thought it would be good for our game because in the Blenner Hassett case there was lots of evidence found that was put together so that people knew for sure that Mr.Blenner hassett tryed but failed to over throw the President. So we thought we could us it in our game so blenner hassett can go back and pick up the evidence so he can not get thrown in jail, so me and my great partner have a lot to be thankful for  in the platform game.

Three things we have learned and should us in our game!!!!@#$%^&*()_+

The first thing we have done is the character. Ever game needs a person or animal to move around. We will have one in our game and his/her name will be Mr./Mrs. Blennerhassett.
   The second thing is the arrow keys to control your charater. We will have to use the arrow key to control or move our charater around the mansion.
The last thing is platforms or carpet/rugs to walk around on.

Three thing we have already done.

I'm ging to tell about three things we have done in Globaloria. The first thing we have done in Globaloria is the game demo. The second thing is the team page. The third thing is the learning log and the projects page.
The game demo is the most important next to presenting the final game. So the game demo is very important. It is imporant because people from Charelston and New York gives us advise on how to make it better.
The second thing is the team page and the team page is were you and your partner share the demo and team name and Ect.
The last thing is the learning log and projects page. The learning log is were you tell what you have done today, and projects page is the page you need to fill out.

Those are the three things that we have done.

Whats next?

now that we have done our game demo,we are going to start on our game, and I think that this year is going to be za great year, and we are goint to have a lot of fun making that game. My partner does most of the work , but some times I help her, but not very much. I really need to start helping her because it is not right for her to do all of the work. She did all of the game demo, and I think that I will help her wiht the rest of the game. Our game is going to b about Blennerhassett Island, it is going to tell about what happened there when tresory was commited. The little man name in our game is going to be Mr.Blennerhassett. He is going to have to go and collect the things that he has dropped out of his brief case.
